Gerald D. (Jerry) Medley, age 68, passed away at his sister Phyllis Daugherty’s home on Monday, April 30, 2012.
He was born in Marion, Virginia to the late Robert & Lois Scott Medley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Medley and a brother-in-law Jan Daugherty. Jerry had been employed at the Southwestern Virginia Mental Health Institute for many years.
He is survived by: His Sister: Phyllis Daugherty

The family wishes to thank Rose, Pat & the staff at Chilhowie Home Nursing for the care given to Jerry during his illness.
In following Jerry’s wishes, his body will be cremated and all services will be held privately. The family will receive friends any time at the home of his sister, Phyllis Daugherty.
